Fair Visitors to be Immortalised in Unique New Board Game

LONDON, October 17 /PRNewswire/ -- A new board game, the only one of its kind on the world, will receive its first public viewing at Essen Spiel 07, Essen, Germany. A British invention, About TimeT tests players' knowledge, lateral thinking and poker-style cunning in the UK's only history-based board game.

The game, which is also available online, will evolve with players being able to submit their own questions for future editions. Everyone who visits the inventors at stand 4-111 can submit a question which will be incorporated in a special edition meaning they themselves will be part of history!

Like history itself, the About TimeT board game is littered with pitfalls and surprises meaning players can catch the plague, be held up by highwaymen or be challenged to a duel as their fortunes rise and fall. There is no waiting around in About TimeT as all players take part in every round and importantly there are no wrong answers - the closest to the year scores, so everyone can play and win, from teenagers to grandparents.

Joe Gill, managing director of Circa Circa, the company which has produced the game, said: "We believe this is a really unique product, there is no other game like it, so we wanted a unique launch to match. Everyone who visits us at Essen can be immortalised by having their own question included in our special edition of the game.

"It is a long time since a board game so unique and interesting has been launched and we hope that we are creating our very own piece of history at Essen Spiel 07."

In the UK both Hamleys and Borders have already committed to support the launch of About TimeT and the inventors of the game have already been filmed with the game by the BBC.
