The Gibraltar-based bookmaker will use the latest technology from industry leader Mfuse to allow its users to place bets from anywhere and at any time.
Peter Fisher, CEO of Stan James, commented: "Mobile betting fits well with the Stan James business ethos. We've been at the forefront of Sports Betting over the last decade and we're synonymous with Betting In-Running, where our traders update the prices while the sport is in progress. This new mobile product now offers our punters the ability to bet In-Running at any time - in front of the TV, in the pub or on a train as a game or match unfolds."
In other news, the Racing Post reported that Stan James abandoned the established practice of offering racing odds relayed from the racecourse betting ring and started offering prices based on its own field book.
Steve Walsh, Marketing Director at Stan James, said: "Going alone gives us the opportunity to be far more competitive and potentially reinvigorate the off-course market by increasing the level of competition in the run up to every race. We are confident we can offer a much more competitive show, primarily by reducing the theoretical profit margin - in fact we are so confident of this that we will go as far as to guarantee all our British horseracing prices against the returned starting price for the next 12 weeks to prove it."
