27-02-2008 Online gambling ban advances in Israel

According to Israeli media reports, local internet service providers will have to automatically block online gambling sites under a bill presented by the ultra-Orthodox Shas party.

Only users who give their explicit consent will be able to access online gambling sites, otherwise said sites will be blocked.
