25-08-2005 Betcorp to offer skill games through the GameAccount's network |
|
The Australian public company has signed a deal with UK-based GameAccount to power its flagship online bookmakers, BetWWTS and Cybersportsbook, with a fully-integrated skill games suite.
The integrated sites offer the opportunity for BetWWTS and Cybersportsbook customers to win a share of the more than $2,000,000 worth of monthly winnings paid out within the GameAccount network, which includes among others Sportingbet, PaddyPower and SkyBet. "Big cash tournaments and P2P (Peer-to-Peer) skill games like Backgammon resonate with sportsbook clients that visit our site as they are able to wager in a secure environment that offers the opportunity to back themselves to win," said Andy Bell, Head of Casino & Games at Betcorp. "This deal proves that the sportsbook market recognizes the incremental revenue potential of P2P gaming. Differentiating your gaming products is a serious marketing priority in a highly competitive space. Were pleased to be able to work with these leading sites and provide their customer base with a unique gaming experience that really delivers returns to the operator and user," agreed Meir Moses, Marketing Manager at GameAccount. In separate news, MoneyGaming.com announced record sign-up since launching this week. More than 35,000 players have joined the world's first high-stakes online skill gaming portal, with up to 15% of players depositing money and playing cash tournaments. |
