24-11-2007 Coral denies agreement with Turf TV is a done deal

While the Guardian revealed that Coral and Turf TV were close to reach an agreement after few weeks of talks, Gala Coral CEO Neil Goulden told the Racing Post that the terms offered are not attractive and the cost remains too high for the UK bookmaker to show Turf TV in its betting shops.

Nick Rust, who replaced Wilf Walsh as Coral managing Director in September, is believed to be the one negotiating a deal with the racing pictures provider. "Our duty and responsibility is to provide our customers with a first-class experience, comprising the products and services they expect, delivered on a basis which is commercially viable and sustainable," he told the Racing Post.
