An anonymous punter has won over £233,000 from William Hill with a £20 bet. He predicted the outcome of 14 soccer matches at the weekend and beat odds of 11,650-1 to bring in his win.

"This is one of the biggest football bets ever landed," a William Hill spokesman said.

The lucky punter picked to win their games: Chelsea, Celtic, Cheltenham, Swansea, Walsall, Airdrie, Gillingham, Hull, Coventry, Derby, Port Vale, Stockport, Preston and he went for Blackburn to draw with Everton.
