The Sunday Times reports that 888's CEO Gigi Levy intends to develop a community networking service to keep new customers on the website for longer.

"Our idea is to have customers coming to our site in clusters of friends: that way they will remain online with us for longer or return because 888 is where their friends are," said Levy.

The online casino and poker operator is also believed to work on the launch of a sports betting service, which is expected to go live by the end of the year.
