21-09-2007 Mansion to focus on casino and poker

According to eGaming Review, the online betting and gaming firm will be focusing on its casino and poker operations ahead of sports betting using a multi-brand strategy. Mansion denied earlier this month that it would be closing its Gibraltar-based betting exchange, while sister sportsbook Mansion88 continues to be actively promoted on the Asian market.

In other news, Ladbrokes signed a development and licence agreement with Playwize, which will provide the UK bookmaker with an exclusive version of its innovative online 3-D poker for use by players on the Ladbrokes poker network.

Elsewhere, gambling software developer Net Entertainment signed up Betsafe.com for its popular online casino product CasinoModule. BetSafe.com, which currently operates from Costa Rica, is to apply for a remote gaming license in Malta.
