21-03-2006 Gala Bingo to target the online market

The leisure giant re-launched its website galabingo.co.uk as "a service that allows anyone, anywhere, to play high-payout bingo without having to step out of their own house 24 hours a day if they so wish."

"Our venture into online gaming is an exciting and, in many ways, a natural ‘next step’ in providing an outstanding bingo player experience that is second-to-none," added Dominic Harrison, Trading Director for the leisure group.

Gala is the largest in UK bingo retailing with 175 bingo clubs across the country, five million members and over 32 million admissions.
