Tjeerd Veenstra, De Lotto’s director, described the decision which ruled that Ladbrokes is not permitted to offer its services via the internet in the Netherlands, as a fatal blow to the "illegal provision of internet betting" in the country.

Betfair and Interwetten are the next targets of court cases brought by De Lotto.
