At a hearing this week in St Louis, Missouri, Jeffrey Demerath, lawyer for the online bookmaker, told Judge Carol Jackson that the company was willing to enter discussions aimed at reaching a settlement for both the civil and criminal charges

"What we are interested in doing is resolving this matter," said Demerath.

Assistant US Attorney, Michael Fagan was quoted as saying: "I think we can resolve matters."
