16-10-2007 Leisure & Gaming ends takeover talks with CGTV Games

The owner of Betshop.com and Betshop Italia said it was considering alternative proposals after having been approached by other parties.

Leisure & Gaming revealed earlier in September that Irish casino software provider CGTV Games made an indicative offer of not less than 13p a share.

Chief Executive Henry Birch said the termination of takeover talks was in the best interests of shareholders.
