15-05-2007 Betfair denies Betdaq takeover

Eoin Ryan, Betfair's Communications Manager in Ireland, denied the world's largest betting exchange intends to buy its Irish rival after that the Irish Independent revealed that Betfair's top executives visited Betdaq's headquarters in Dublin earlier last week.

"People come and go in our offices all the time," said a spokesperson for Betdaq.
