In other news, ATE Online reported that European Gaming is currently exploring a sale of Talarius subsidiary Cyberslotz after receiving several approaches for the UK-focused online gaming site.
Elsewhere, GigaMedia, owner of Evererest Poker, had another record quarter with a 265 per cent increase in poker revenues up to $21.8 million and approximately 54,000 new depositing real-money poker players added during the period. "Second-quarter was another record for GigaMedia, with outstanding performance in every business unit. More important, we expect even stronger growth in the second half and excellent momentum into 2008," said CEO Arthur Wang.
