13-02-2005 Merrill Lynch UK has established an online betting index

The broker created an index basket of internet betting companies to better inform investors of trends in the sector.

The index includes the following stocks with corresponding weightings and listing exchanges:

SportingBet    25.5 %   London AIM
NETeller         23.8 %   London AIM
Bet&Win        15.9 %    Vienna
UniBet Group  10.3 %   Stockholm
Boss Media     8.5 %    Stockholm
UK Bet           8.3 %    London AIM
BETonSPORTS 7.7 %    London AIM
