13-01-2006 Sportech has appointed a new Chairman

The betting firm has appointed Piers Pottinger as Non-Executive Chairman, succeeding David Mathewson, who has resigned from the role with effect from January 31. Gary Speakman was promoted to Chief Operating Officer from Finance Director with immediate effect.
