11-07-2005 Stanleybet.com ceased trading

Following the recent sale of the Stanleybet betting shops to William Hill, Stanley Leisure has decided not to continue with its internet and telephone betting operations in the UK. At the time of writing, it remains unclear what will happen to Stanleybet licensed betting shops in Croatia and Romania and to the agents operating in Belgium, Germany and Italy.
