09-03-2005 North Dakotans to vote on constitutional poker amendment

House Representatives voted 50-44 to approve the amendment, House Concurrent Resolution 3035, which proposes to change North Dakota’s state constitution to authorize "internet live poker, licensed and regulated by the state".

The amendment now passes to the Senate and eventually would go to the June 2006 primary ballot for a statewide vote.
