The company's wholly owned subsidiary, Global Interactive Gaming, operates the SportXction System, which enables play-by-play wagering during the course of live sporting events. During the month of June, the SportXction System recorded $2.3 million in turnover, up 15% from the turnover recorded in May.
Chief Executive Bernard Albanese commented: "We are extremely pleased with the continued growth of the system's wagering turnover. We are particularly happy with the increases in tennis wagering volume. Although the Company's revenues are temporarily no longer directly dependent upon the turnover volume or the hold, because of recent arrangements with our main partners, it is very gratifying to see the continued growth shown in the system's use over the last several months. This growth trend bodes well for the long-term future success of the product and services we provide."
