Reuters reports that the online gaming company will announce a long awaited sportsbook white label deal with Rank' Blue Square on Monday. "We expect a pan-European launch in Q1 2008 before also going to other countries as well," a source close to the deal told Reuters.

"We're trying not to set expectations too high. We will grow the business market by market and focus on profitability," 888 CEO Gigi Levy told the Telegraph.

Elsewhere, the German lottery and betting operator Fluxx AG launched its UK-focused sportsbook Jaxx.com. MD Mark Irvine said Jaxx will be bringing its expertise to the British market. "We are fully aware that it would be pointless to launch a me too product in such a competitive marketplace, so the JAXX offering is innovative, straightforward and, most importantly, great fun to use," said Irvine.
