01-10-2007 Ubet2win suspended from trading on AIM pending publication of financial results

The racecourse and online betting operator announced that its unaudited results for the six months to June 30 were not completed and accordingly trading in the company's shares has been suspended.

Ubet2win said that because of continued losses the company ceased trading at racecourses in both England and Ireland and suspended its internet betting operations as its online software was faulty and ineffective.

CEO Francis Gerard French stated: "If the Company is to relaunch its online gaming business this will necessitate the purchase of a new online software system and the costs of this and of its development wiould result in the Company having to raise substantial new funds."
