01-05-2007 Coral Eurobet aims at 10 per cent of Italy's retail betting market

The Financial Times reports that Coral Eurobet plans to open all 400 of its Eurobet licensed betting shops in Italy by October 1. The company, which already invested £25m for the 400 licenses, said the secondary market will enable it to buy a further 200. The Italian subsidiary Italian Betting SRL also runs the internet betting site Eurobet.it.
