24-04-2007 Bookmakers on a winner with Betfair

On face value, betting exchanges would seem to be in direct competition with bookmakers, but the Victorian Bookmakers' Association has reached agreement with the betting exchange Betfair that will give its members an extra incentive to use the facility.
