PartyGaming reaches non prosecution deal with US authorities |
The parent company of PartyBets and Gamebookers has agreed to pay $105 million over the next 4 years in exchange for the guarantee that it will not be prosecuted for providing internet gambling to US customers from 1997 to 2006. And while PartyGaming also agreed to maintain a restriction from offering internet gambling services to customers in the United States, it is clear that the agreement with the Justice Department will allow the company to re-enter the market if someday the US ban on internet gambling will be lifted.
