BetUK to share platform with Betinternet

Bookmakers Review recently asked BetUK a comment on their fresh association with Betinternet and move away from Sportingbet.
BetUK management told BMR the site was never owned by Sportingbet nor is it owned now by Betinternet. "We went from sharing a platform with Sportingbet to sharing a platform with Betinternet."
Earlier this year the BetUK about us page stated: "BetUK.com is owned by Sportingbet plc, a UK public limited company floated on the London Stock Exchange."
I'm always baffled by how people think they can get away by stating one thing today and the exact contrary tomorrow (is not going to happen on the internet). BetUK took advantage of the claim stating they were owned by a public company to promote their business and now for some reason (maybe the recent ASA ruling?) reneges on it (not that it really matters who owns what).
For the time being BetUK rating is confirmed at 2.5+.
