We've recently been asked by a reader why Bodog (3.5+) has been removed from the Green list: "What happened to Bodog? I can't see it anymore on the Green list."
While we understand that following the passage of the UIGEA and with the US DoJ investigating online gambling, US-facing bookmakers had to look for new payment processors and re-organize their payment systems, we simply don't feel comfortable in recommending a company that takes an average of two months to send payments to its US customers.
We've also received a similar question regarding WSEX (4-): "Why WSEX is no more in the green list?"
WSEX is a very popular bookmaker among US bettors, however in the past few months there have been multiple forum reports about payment delays. This was the reason for the rating reassessment issued on July 14.
Around the same time we decided to restore our rule to include in the Green List only bookmakers rated 4 or more. Thus the exclusion of Bodog and WSEX.
We will review Bodog and WSEX once the new NFL season kicks off and we receive regular players feedback.
