WagerHub voids winning bets because they were likely to win |
|
While players on betting forums report of receiving cold calls from WagerHub representatives asking for deposits, we've read what is probably one of the most unbelievable stories in the balance confiscations within the entire online gambling industry. A player had a balance of almost ,000 confiscated by the Costa Rica bookmaker, with the owner claiming all the player's bets were "survey plays" and likely to win making the player a wise guy. Apparently WagerHub thinks they have the right to void winning bets several weeks old because the player was not losing...ehmm the player was not a recreational player. In another case WagerHub is slow-paying a bonus abuser who admitted having three accounts, sending a very disturbing message that they don't mind dealing with multiple account abusers as long as they deposit. If they win, well that's another story. In yet another case a player reported receiving fake MoneyGram instructions. WagerHub newly rated at 1 and added to the Red list.
UPDATE 03-02-2010: SBR reports the player who had his balance confiscated for placing bets likely to win eventually received a partial payment. It appears the rest of the balance will be paid in installments. Date published: 01 February 2010 Related rating updates |
