Is Bet911 solid as a rock or run by a thief? |

While Carl Ferrat, the character that worked the betting forums on behalf of Bet911, immediately after being fired posted that the Costa Rica bookmaker was as solid as a rock, few weeks later he went on to reveal that the commission he was supposed to get paid (either on players' deposits/turnover or more likely their losses) was never paid and that was the real reason for him to leave the job with the “solid” Costa Rica sportsbook. And while just a month before he went out of his way to reassure players that Bet911 was doing all the right things and would continue to do so, he later told players to beware and called Bet911 ownership thieves. Now I personally don't believe that Bet911 is now in a worst position than say a month before Carl left, but I hope this whole ordeal and the fact that after claiming to have changed line of business, Carl is now back promoting yet another bookmaker (BetHorizon) will help forum players to see these customer representatives for what they really are: salesmen who would say anything to sell whatever they are selling that day. I've found particularly amusing that some players claimed that they were going to stop playing at Bet911 now that Carl was gone. Does someone really think that a CS representative that by his own admission makes $6.50 per hour will guarantee your funds are safe if the boomaker goes bad? Meanwhile, a new Costa Rica online bookmaker started targeting forum players with generous bonus offers. WagerHub used an unscrupulous technique when they contacted a popular forum member to offer him a $200 free play to try them out, being sure the player would report the offer on the SBR forum.
