Churchill Downs Inc to buy Youbet.com

The racetrack operator and owner of the TwinSpires.com brand announced the acquisition of Youbet.com, the leading US horse racing betting site in a cash and shares deal.
Churchill's Chief Executive Bob Evans said the merger of TwinSpires.com and Youbet.com will result in annual savings of million and at the same time give the company the opportunity to offer horse racing betting to an even broader online audience.
