Ladbrokes Online Sportsbook completes move to Gibraltar

The UK bookmaker said it was forced to move its online sports betting operation offshore as increased competition from offshore bookmakers made the UK taxation of online betting operators anti-competitive.
Ladbrokes also said the levels of taxation will be reduced to an operating profit tax of between 1% and 2% and that tax savings will be used to invest in new technologies and a new website offering customers better introductory bonuses and other promotions.
