Gary Kaplan sentenced to 51 months |
The founder of BetOnSports pleaded guilty to the charges of conspiring to violate U.S. racketeering laws by providing betting services to US citizens through offshore web sites and toll-free telephone numbers.
Kaplan has also been ordered to forfeit more than million in illicit earnings.
His siblings, Neil Scott Kaplan and Lori Beth Kaplan-Multz, also pleaded guilty and agreed to forfeit more than million.
