BetOnline.com linked to Gambino crime family

The New York Police's bust of an illegal betting ring revealed the connection of Panama-based BetOnline.com and U.S. organized crime.
According to prosecutors over 0 million in bets have been collected in the last 2 years from the bookmaker managed by a Gambino associate, Joseph Fafone, who was arrested in New York while boarding a flight for Panama.
Mr Fafone had already been arrested in 2002 in Florida during “Operation Goodfellas” for acting as agent of online bookmaker BestLineSports.com, which in April 2007 was merged with BetOnline.com.
The Panama bookmaker added to the Orange list.
