Betchance pays out to player who complained to Malta's Ministry of Finance |
A player who contacted the Malta's Ministry of Finance at the end of December 2007, after having waited for months for answers from the bookmaker or the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, received a payment today. Apparently it took just over a week for an assistant to the Finance Minister to contact the LGA and get a payment from the troubled bookmaker. Is this the same Ministry of Finance which found no conflict of interest in Mario Galea's role as CEO of the licensing authority and his ownership of the major hosting provider to the online betting industry?
