On April 2005, the Isle of Man introduced a zero rate on taxable income for the e-gaming sector, while also offering governmental grants of up to 40% for gambling software developers looking to relocate to the island. The Gambling Control Commissioners require that player deposits should be segregated in some way and held in an independent banking
