Description:
Online gaming in Curacao is regulated through the National Ordinance Offshore Games of Hazard. Online gaming operators can apply for an egaming license to the Curacao Department of Justice or obtain a sub-license from a master license holder. Since 1996, Cyberluck Curacao has been the Master License Authority designated by the Department of Justice. In May 2007, the Curacao Internet Gaming Association announced that Curacao was in the process of updating its e-gaming regulations and legislation, with a view to maintain its position amongst world leading e-gaming jurisdictions. As part of the update, Curacao applied to the UK Government to be accepted as a recognized e-gaming jurisdiction with reciprocal rights.
